Jesus Is Our Great Physician

Jesus said to the woman, "You are now well because of your faith. May God give you peace!  You are healed and you will no longer be in pain." Mark 5:34 CEV

Thank you for praying for me.  Jesus has lifted the depression off me and my physical body is starting to heal, the pain is greately diminished.  All glory to God.

When I came back home from New Zealand my health was great and I felt exhuberant.  Marcie and another student did warn me it would be hard.  And it has been.  My skin developed a precancer, I went to the dermatologist.  She told me to have a facial peel (chemical) to remove the damaged layers.  It sounded good and easy to me, so I did it.  Also, wanting a younger, more beautiful skin was a factor too.  So, I did the peel and its been a whole week and the pain has been excruciating to both my face, and my eyes are drooping and painful.

  It has been terrifying to me.  I got a word of knowledge from my sister that Jesus would heal me, and He has restored my faith and sense of well being.   I think the verse that applies to this situation is in 1st Peter, those who have suffered in the flesh are done with sin.  This is just another reminder from the Lord not to love this world, not to live for this world.  And we know that all things work together for the good for those who love the Lord and are the called according to His purposes.  Romans.

Spiritual warfare was also a factor. I believe I was experiencing a spiritual assault. Here is the situation:  There has been a teen suicide in my area of the city.  Other young men want to die.  Its taking lots of prayer just to keep the youth alive.  So, the despair I was experiencing yesterday had an element of satanic spiritual attack.  I have been prayer walking an area by the high school (with my pastors knowledge and the church praying).  This area has satanic, 666 grafitti.  I believe it is a high place of satanism.  So, that opened me up for demonic assault.  I expect God above to answer prayers and rid the area of satanism and all the evil associated with it.

So, thanks for being obedient to Jesus and and praying for me in my hour of great need.  Once again, Jesus has prevailed.  I thank Him for being so kind.  His mercy, grace, and forgiveness are forever, powerful.
