The Most Painful Sins

 

1. Suicide is a sin that is extremely painful to others.  My Dad committed suicide about 20 years ago.  He was only 63 years of age.  Dad had PTSD from fighting the communist Chinese at the Chosin Reservoir in North Korea.  He was wounded and a lot of American Marines were killed, even though they won the battle despite overwhelming odds thanks to God Almighty.  When he was about 40 his PTSD drove him to depression so the VA doctors put him on antidepressants.  He did well and was successful in life, but the depression haunted him.  After many years the docs gave him prozac.  The prozac destroyed his nervous system, giving him tremors, etc.  Finally my Dad could stand it no longer, he shot himself.  His sin hurt my brother so bad he had depression for 3 years and wasn't himself.  My sister went half mental for several years.  My Mom went mental and never recouperated, although Jesus gave her a god life.  It killed me.   I had previously had breast cancer.  After I got the word Dad had dies the cancer metastatised in my liver. I had a dream.  In the dream my Dad and I were walking on the most beautiful cul=de=sac with the prettiest mansions anyone could ever want.  He showed me his, and told me to pick out mine.  I knew the meaning of the dream, he had made it to heaven by Jesus mercy, and it was my time to come too.  Subsequently Jesus did a miracle and changed my times to live again in this world.  Jesus is the God of the second chances, forever.
2. Refusing to share then Good News of salvation with others is the most heinous and selfish sin I know.  I've known people like that.
3. Not accepting Jesus' free gift eternal life is the most painful sin to a person's loved ones and to the Father in heaven.  Many have been hurt deeply by a loved ones stubborn refusal to confess Christ

Biblical Model of Discipline: Paul

I'd have to say Saul of Tarsus is the premier example of discipline in the New Testament.  He was always a sincere man, always seeking the God of Israel.  He thought he served El Shaddai by murdering people who followed the Way of Jesus.  But Jesus came to Saul when he was on the road to Damascus.  Jesus talked too him, told him he was making a mistake.  Saul became blinded for 3 days and nights.  It's almost as if he died and was born again as the Apostle Paul.  Jesus said: .. he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel;  I will show him how much he must suffer for My name's sake." (Acts 9:15b,16)

The great Apostle to us Gentiles was disciplined for the rest of his life.  He endured many hardships, beatings, stonings, imprisonments, etc.  He was in constant pain by a messenger (angel) of Satan buffeting him.  Paul said; For I am the least of the apostles, and not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am,.. (1  Cor. 15:9,10a)

Jesus discipline was only for Pauls good, to keep him from being lifted up in pride, to keep him humble and on the path the Lord had laid out for him.  Paul wrote these eternal words: And we know that all things work together for the good for those who love the Lord and are the called according to His purposes.  (Romans)

The Lord Jesus

I always see the Lord near me, and I will not be afraid, with Him at my right side.  Because of this my heart will be glad, my words will be joyful, and I will live in hope.  He has shown me the path to Life, and He makes me glad by being near me.   (Acts 2:25b,26,28 CEV)

Jesus Loves You

Paul's words to Timothy,  and to you and I:

You belong to God, so keep away from all these evil things.(greed)   Try your best to please God and to be like Him.... Be faithful, loving, dependable, and gentle. Promise to obey completely and fully all that you have been told until our Lord Jesus Christ returns.  (1 Tim. 6:11,14)

Jesus has been taken up to heaven.  But He will come back in the same way that you have seen Him go. (Acts 1)

The Glorious God is the Only Ruler, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.  At the time that God has already decided, He will send Jesus Christ back again. 

 Only God lives forever!  And He lives in Light...

"Stay joined to Me and I will stay joined to you.  f you stay joined to Me, and I stay joined to you, then you will produce lots of fruit.  But, you cannot do anything without Me. 

Stay joined to Me and let My teachings become part of you.  When you become fruitful disciples of Mine, My Father will be honored.  I have loved you, just as My Father has loved Me.  So, remain faithful to My love for you."  (John 15 excerpts CEV)

The Prophets Stood Outside Looking In

The Prophets stood outside looking in. They stand outside looking up to the Almighty. The Prophets are different people, they are outside looking in. Habbakkuk stood and watched and waited and talked to God the Lord.

I was wondering If I need to get involved in more activities talking to more people in the church about finances, etc. But, Jesus did not open that door for me, He had me in CDA with my loving family instead.

One of my favorite instructions is the one God gave to His Prophet Isaiah. I think it applies to all of us Christians living in these last days:

Spokane

We've had 2 power outages in Spokane this past week or so. I lost my beautiful blue spruce in front. Last night I saw this as a very bad sign for Spokane. Evidently there are fires burning. When I talked to God this thought came to me, "Get out of Spokane." I wonder if that was the Holy Spirit of Jesus, God Almighty Himself telling me leave? I immediately thought of going over to CDA to be with my son. I wondered if Jesus meant immediately, or sale, or forever?

Jesus Conquers Evil

The Scriptures are clear that evil exists in this entire universe.  Satan, was the magnificent Lucifer, God's ultimate angelic creation of light and beauty turned against God, and all of humanity by his pride.  Sin and evil were born into the kosmos when Lucifer's pride and rebellion turned against God and goodness.  Sin came into being in the pride of Satan's heart when he wanted to usurp God as the rightful ruler of the ages. Satan took 1/3 of the angels, watchers, with him and became mankind's mortal enemy.  He was the first murderer.  He murdered Adam and Eve, and essentially all humanity when he enticed the human heart to sin and disobey God.  

Satan is the 'god of this fallen world'.  But, Jesus conquered him on the cross and took the keys of death, hell and the grave out of Satans hands.  Make no mistake, Satan is no match for Jesus.  Jesus is the Creator of the Kosmos, the One Who holds our very breath in His hands.  God, Almighty, in Jesus animates and upholds, and gives life to His entire creation.

..it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. (2 Tim. 1:10) 

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (Rev. 21:4)

The Dark Side

It is fascinating to understand the 'dark side" of this universe.  We do need to know of the existence of evil.  Satan  and their malignant forces of fallen angels that seek to destroy the human being.  Satan ultimately seeks to destroy  this earth under the prince of darkness incarnate, antichrist.

Thank God, for Jesus who rescued us from darkness.

 I used to live without hope and without God in this dark world. It was awful.  Then, one great day, when I dying of cancer, Jesus,  in God's mercy touched me and saved me.  His grace and forgiveness has carried me ever since. He woke me up too, about a year ago.  I too desire to fast and pray and enter in more fully to knowing Him, and the power of His resurrection.

 About  20 years ago in a miracle touch from Jesus.... He healed me of terminal cancer by His infinite mercy.   He gave me a second life to raise my children.  I love Jesus more than life.

 About  2 years ago during worship,  it was as if Jesus came to me and told me, "I still have more for you to do.  Tell of My mercy." (When He did a miracle healing  in my body.) "Tell of My grace."  (He's carried me on His wings of grace ever since.) "And tell of My forgiveness."  (All my sins, so grievous to me.. as if they never happened.)

I personally know the unfathomable love of God.  How Jesus' mercy, grace, and forgiveness is like a mighty river of infinite power, a vast ocean of  God's love we are immersed in as Christians.

  

 About 1 year,during worship,  it seemed the Holy Spirit of Jesus whispered to me, "I have not found your works complete before my God." (from Rev. 3:2)  I repented. Jesus woke me up. May I please Him til the great Day of Christ Jesus.

The New Jerusalem

Divine Protection

One of the main lessons is that the men who tried to destroy Daniel through their evil plotting became the victims themselves.  God protected Daniel.  The same thing happened to the Jews when Haman tried to annihilate them.  God turned the tables and the evil plotters bent on destroying others  were the ones who ended up losing their lives and homes instead.  Godj protected Esther, Mordacai, and the other people of the Messiah of Israel and the world.  How many times has it happened to us Christians that people plotted eveil against us and yet, God turned that tables on them just like He did for Daiel and Mordacai?  It's happened in my life more times than I know.  Several I know for sure.  Always saddened me to see the greed and depravity of mankind.  I've always been grateful to my King Jesus for saving and protecting me in my desperate needs.  I love Him.  Jesus loves us, His followers.  He has good plans for us in this life and the Age to come

Prayer

Daniel Prayed the prescribed three times daily towards Jerusalem.  He was a very fine, God fearing man who honored the Lord God of Heaven, Most High in all he did.  When Solomon dedicated the First temple God made it a house of prayer to all nations and instructed people to pray towards the temple.  

In a sense praying towards the temple is a metaphor of our hearts continually turning toward God above in prayer for all our daily needs and sustanence.  When we look to the Lord for His divine provision daily in all things this is a heart attitude that fulfillw what we are commanded by the Apostle Paul to "pray without ceasing". 

 Over the years I have had many years of very poor health.  That makes it easy to realize that I cannot even draw my next breath without Him.  Prayer then becomes a total state of mind of being continually being dependent on our Maker and Sustainer.  When we worship our hearts, (bodies and minds too) are in an inner attitude of love and gratitude.  That is a conversation of love and gratitude.  In a broader sense this can be considered prayer.  

The older I get the more I understand to 'Lean not on my own understanding, but in all my ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct my paths.'  I've come to understand that Jesus knows whats best, so I seek His will be done as the epitome of prayer.  

Dear Friends

Thanks for your love and concern for my health and stress.  I've been in a very bad way for about 2 months or so.  My health took a plumet, and I've been afflicted with twitchs, etc (parkinsons symptoms) a good portion of the time.  Thank God, at this time they are minor, but they go up and down... sometimes I'm well, sometimes I'm in a nightmare of torment.  Breaks my heart.   When i got back from NZ in March my health was fantastic!  Now, some days i can barely function.

* But .. in all these things we are more than conquorers through Him Who loved us.  

We can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us.  So, im having a better day today, PTL.  That's why I can post again.  I trust Jesus to renew and restore me.  As Habakkuk says, "The Lord God is my strength" 

* God has used it for good through, humbling, keeping me focused on His mercy second by second. He keeps me focused on His power, mercy, provision moment by moment.  A person sure can't love this world when they are sick.   I've been able to watch a lot of Missler and move through Bible studies.  Just finished self paced Jeremiah, and Genesis; jumping into Revelation to roll through self  pace.  Im currently enrolled in the regular Daniel class. 

* So, in short,  "with God all things are possible"   Please keep me in your prayers, I need Jesus to continue to heal and restore me.

Living Through the Fire; My Dream

The fiery furnace in Daniel is very interesting, exciting.  Jesus came down, the preincarnate Son of God,  and walked with the 3 young Hebrews in the midst of burning fire.  This was a true, life saving miracle from our Lord of Mercy Himself.  Not only did Jesus supernaturally preserve the lives of His 3 folllowers of the Lord God Most HIgh; but Jesus gave Nubechadazzer the eyes to see Him.  I dont imagine it was humanly possible for the Genitle king to look into the fire and see Divinity.  So, Jesus Himself not only preserved the men, but appeared to the proud king.  What a miracle of love, mercy, and compassion.

29 years ago I had a recurring dream of living through burning, nuclear fire.  I was in awe and wonder how I could live through the nuclear wall of fire.  This is the dream.  I wonder if it was from God.  In my dream I was walking in my home, holding my baby.  All of a sudden I could see through the walls.  I saw a very large, nuclear blast>  I knew immediately that an unproved, first strike attack had been launched on Fairchild Airforce Base, about 40 miles southwest of my home in Spokane Washington. The nuclear blast grew and formed into a huge mushroom cloud.  The wall of fire came out, rushing out from the base of the fire ball.  I thought to turn and run, but before I could blink my eyes, the fire wall burned right through me and the baby.  It hurt so bad, but only for a second.  I stood there, alive, with my baby, in my clothes.  Not even touched by the fire wall.  How could this be, I wondered.  The same dream happened night after night after night. I wonder what it could mean.  I pray for mercy on America

The Lamb of God Who Takes Away the Sins of the World

 

Elohim created a perfect universe, and a humanity to love and worship Him forever and always do right.  A terrible thing happened.  The fallen arcangel, Lucifer, deceived and beguiled the first woman and man into disobeying our Creator. At that moment death entered into this cosmos.  Humankind had chosen to do evil and side with fallen angels rather than with the Almighty.  We were lost.  Death has ruled and reigned ever since.  God told Adam and Eve that is what would happen.  Satan like it.  His goal is eternal death for humanity.

The wages of sin is death... but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.  Jesus knew from the beginning we would be sold out to sin.  This would cause eternal separation from our God who loves us and years for an intimate, love relationship with every human being He has ever or will ever create.  This broke Gods heart.  But Jesus volunteered to save us from our sins.  The shedding of innocent blood gives us remission from sins.  Only Jesus was sinless.  He was born of a virgin.  He came to seek and to save which was lost.  And He did, when He died on the cross 2,000 years ago, as fore enacted by the Prophet Abraham, in the Akedah.  Jesus  died and was buried.  God defeated death, when He rose again after 3 days, as foreshadowed.  In praise Him, I love Him.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.  Jesus still has more people to save.  That is why He is waiting in heaven until the great Day Shines and He arrives here again.  Even so, Come Lord Jesus
